Objective builder

Objective builder turns a plain-language description of who you want to reach into a launched objective in about five exchanges. The conversation is the segmentation tool: you describe the cohort (company size, industry, persona, region, or a named list), it previews the matched people, you can clone the inputs and live pins from an objective that already works, then you assign the people and launch.

When to use it

Standing up a new objective from criteria, or starting outreach to a specific cohort or list: "create an objective," "build an objective from my list."

What you approve

It never launches without an explicit confirmation — you see the exact cohort ("Launch outreach to these N people?") and say yes first. Even after launch, the messages themselves still go through outreach review; objective builder never auto-approves a draft.

Exact wording with templates

By default every draft is written per-person in your harness. When you'd rather send the same proven email every time, give a touch a template — your exact prose with {{first_name}}, {{last_name}}, {{company}}, and {{title}} variables. Templated touches skip the writing queue: they render by plain substitution (no AI ever touches your wording) and land in review as ready drafts. Anyone whose variables can't resolve stays in the authoring queue with the reason attached — never a blank "Hi ,".

Templates apply to content sends — email, LinkedIn DM, and InMail — and email and InMail templates need a subject line. Connection requests and phone touches keep their own flows. Edit templates per touch in the objective's Plan tab (/objectives/[id]), or set them from your harness via manage_outreach; render one over already-queued touches with action='objective_apply_template'.
